Applications for September 2027 open at 12:00am on Wednesday, October 1st.
Applications are evaluated in the order they are received, and you may update your application at any time as you achieve our entrance requirements (English language competency and prerequisite courses BCST0060 or BCST 1160).
You do not need to wait until you meet all prerequisites to file your application, the earlier you apply, the better, you can always add to, and update your application after it has been entered in our system – it “holds your place in line”.

English Requirements
- English Studies 12 (67%) or
- English First Peoples 12 (67%) or
- Acceptable equivalent high school course or
- 3.0 credits of post-secondary English, humanities or social sciences (67%) from a recognized institution
Prerequisite Courses (choose 1 option)
BCST 0060 – Broadcast Television and Video Production pre-entry course
- For students who are unable to attend our Burnaby Campus in-person, requires a 65% pass for admissions
or
BCST 1160 – Television Broadcasting and Video Introduction
- For students able to attend our Burnaby Campus in-person, requires a 50% pass for admissions
