This year, applications open at 12:00 on Tuesday, October 3rd.
Applications are evaluated in the order they are received, and you may update your application at any time as you achieve our entrance requirements (English language competency and prerequisite courses BCST0060 or BCST 1160). You do not need to wait until you meet all prerequisites to file your application!

English Requirements
Two years of education in English in an English-speaking country with one of the following:
- English Studies 12 (67%) or
- English First Peoples 12 (67%) or
- Acceptable equivalent high school course or
- 3.0 credits of post-secondary English, humanities or social sciences (67%) from a recognized institution
Prerequisite Courses (choose 1 option)
BCST 0060 – Broadcast Television and Video Production pre-entry course
- For students who are unable to attend our Burnaby Campus in-person, requires a 65% pass for admissions
or
BCST 1160 – Television Broadcasting and Video Introduction
- For students able to attend our Burnaby Campus in-person, requires a 50% pass for admissions
